AM-17 miles this morning at 7-7:30/mile. Met up with Demetrio on the trail and chatted about his racing tactics at Deseret News marathon, an event which he won in 2:16 I believe one year. He keeps telling me if I just simplified my life and really focused I could easily go under 2:20. I just can't see that happening though. Yet somehow after he said that I felt some fire again and wondered,

 just maybe...

Its tough to keep life simple and stress-free. I am always looking for the answer to that one. Either way, good to see you out cranking out the miles..

Sure you can hit that time. You're putting in some great mileage lately. You may have to wear the skirt at St. George, but we'll have to bow down to you after you PR there, which I bet you can do.
