AM-3x1 mile at 5k effort on 7th and 13th east with the last 4 miles at MP. 12 miles total. Kind of warm this afternoon. Looks like Indian summer this year.. Starting a gradual taper now.

PM-Easy-medium 10 miles with a nice easy warm up. Last 6 miles at 6-6:30/mile. I really like night time in the fall by the way. Something about it just energizes me.. A nice ending to a tough day:)

Yeah for sure man I was sweating buckets at the end! But it's good in a way because it helps you become heat tolerant I think:)

I'd venture to say it was downright HOT when I was on the track yesterday afternoon! Enjoy it now though b/c the temps are gonna drop about 25 degrees by the end of next week.

Any chance you'll be at our 5K this weekend?

Debatable.. I have to work almost every Saturday. I managed to get SO JO off but did not want to push things with my boss by asking for another weekend. One of the reasons I don't get to run very many races... I hope you get a good turnout though because I know you and Andrea have gone to great effort to add and enrich this blog as well as the local running community. Keep up the great work Jake. I know you can get that sub 15:00 this week. Besides, I would probably get my butt kicked anyhow LOL!
