AM-Easy 4 mile wake up jog/run. 65-70% mhr.  Loop course.

PM-10.3 miles 70-75% mhr. Up to 80% mhr on the last 3 miles.  Antelope/Fairfield out and back. 

On a side note the NYC marathon was cancelled for the first time in it's history due to Hurricane Sandy.  It should have never been even considered at this point IMHO...

I agree with you 100%. Marathons are fun and all, but not when your running past people and places under such disrepair.

Yes, but I think another and more important aspect of it is that the supplies, logistics, security etc that would have been used otherwise for the race were needed so much more for the people of New York.

Absolutely! I think the runners that have come regardless should join with the community (using the resources in hand) and participate in a true charity event. Much more healing than a sporting/ athletic event.
