Easy 5 mile jog. Weight work with biceps and abdominal area. Lots of easy stretching also.  Not sore, just not loose with good range of motion. Anything over 7/min pace and you can feel the strain.

I'm debating on keeping a food diary to keep track of what I'm eating.  Just not sure of having it on here being public and all.  My diet isn't always top notch.. However I have to track calories somehow because the goal is to put on some weight.  Is that even possible for 140 lb former 2:25 guy?  A friend of mine who is way into bodybuilding has beeen trying to convince me otherwise. He's always telling me; Kill the cardio Steve!  You are not going to get anywhere weight wise if you keep going on that hamster wheel. I shudder at the idea but maybe he's right who knows.

I don't think people will critique your diet, Steve, assuming that's what you are worried about. You will find plenty of examples of less than optimal diets on the blog (we all have "phases" too). I find it interesting to see what people eat.

As for gaining weight, I would say you can have 10 lbs from me free of charge but I am sure I have made that joke at least once.

Good to see you blogging again.

Thanks Jason, I know what your saying. It's just tough being on the other side of the spectrum. (trying to gain weight vs losing it.) I also think sometimes though you can put too much info out there on the web. But you are probably right most people don't think that much about it.

I didn't mean to suggest "just be happy with it." My (soon to be) wife has taught me that just because someone isn't big, overweight, etc, doesn't mean they like people to comment on their weight/size *even* in admiration. My joke was meant to be playful.

I like the idea of weights and strength training. I am always amazed at the kind of work Mo Farah (for example) does.
