Sub 2:40 at Deseret News Marathon. Never quite conquered that beast yet.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Run a good marathon again in the future.
AM-4 miles this morning on 7th. Crappy sleep and quarreling cats last night kept me awake so I decided to work on a project and listen to some old time radio shows. Went for a run and took a nap afterwards.
AM-16 miles with alternating 5 min intervals of LT/MP intensity. Grueling.. Draper Parkway/7th/13th east. o/b.
AM-6 miles aerobic resistance run on 7th/7800s/o/b. (40:39) Felt good once I got warmed up. Average heart rate has come down a fair amount with the cooler weather along with better aerobic fitness.
PM-4 miles ez on 7th/o/b.
AM-12 miles with 6 at steady state to MP. parkway/draper o/b.
PM-5 miles late evening on 7th/13th.
AM-Easy 5 mile run. 7-8/min pace. Union loop.
PM-Easy 5 miles this evening. 7:30-8/min. 7th/o/b.
AM-10 miles with alternating LT/Mp intensity miles. Went by feel with no watch timing. Slow to get warmed up but once I did things took off.. state/parkway/7th o/b.
PM-4 miles ez recovery on 7th. o/b.
AM-10 miles on 80th/JRP o/b. No watch. The steady climb coming back seemed easier on the legs than in previous weeks. Good sign.
PM-No run this evening. I finally got an old radio to work again instead:) My other hobby..
